ABOUT ME.
I'm Alex Morgan, a product designer and developer based in San Francisco, driven by the belief that great design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about solving real problems for real people. With over 5 years of experience in the tech industry, I've had the privilege of working with startups, scale-ups, and Fortune 500 companies.
I didn't always know I wanted to be a designer. Growing up in Seattle, I was the kid who equally loved playing with Legos and tinkering with computers. I taught myself HTML and CSS in middle school by building terrible websites for my friends' bands (yes, with auto-playing music and Comic Sans).
In college, I pursued computer science because it felt like the practical choice. But something was missing. I loved solving problems, but writing backend code all day didn't fulfill me creatively. A random elective in Human-Computer Interaction changed everything. I realized I could combine my technical skills with visual design—and suddenly, everything clicked.
Today, I'm fortunate to work on products that millions of people use daily. But what excites me most isn't the scale—it's the impact. Every design decision affects real people's lives, and that responsibility drives me to constantly improve my craft.
